In Hyderabad, petrol has reached the most expensive price of Rs 107.46 per liter. In comparison, Chandigarh is the cheapest city, where petrol is available at Rs 94.30 and diesel at Rs 82.45 per litre. Rates have also remained stable in cities like Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Patna, Indore and Surat.
There has been no major change in the prices of petrol and diesel since the tax cut in May 2022. While crude oil prices keep going up and down in the international market, fuel rates in India have remained stable for a long time.
