New Delhi. Recently, Air India flight AI138 coming from Milan city of Italy to Delhi was suddenly canceled due to technical fault. This flight was important for hundreds of Indian passengers returning to India just before Diwali. Due to technical problem, the plane was unable to take off, causing panic among the passengers. Air India said that this decision was taken keeping the safety of passengers as priority. Air India has made temporary hotel and food arrangements for the passengers of the canceled flight. Many passengers have also been accommodated outside the airport so that they do not face much inconvenience. The airline has expressed its commitment towards the safety and convenience of passengers. Along with this, the company said that the situation is being continuously monitored and all necessary steps are being taken. Air India has started booking alternative flights from October 20. Depending on the availability of seats, efforts are being made to send all the passengers to India as soon as possible. In particular, priority is being given to passengers whose visas are expiring.
