26th November Petrol-Diesel Rate Updates have been made across the country, and as always it has a direct impact on the budget of the common man. The domestic fuel market depends on international crude oil prices, strength or weakness of the rupee and government taxes. This is why oil companies release the latest rates every morning at 6 am, so that people can know the correct rate as per their city.
As per today’s latest update, prices have remained stable in many cities of the country. Petrol in New Delhi is Rs 94.72 per liter and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter. Petrol was recorded at Rs 104.21 per liter in Mumbai, Rs 100.75 in Chennai and Rs 103.94 per liter in Kolkata. The highest price of petrol in Hyderabad is Rs 107.46 per liter. In comparison, the rate of petrol in Chandigarh is the lowest at Rs 94.30 per liter.
Talking about diesel, Chandigarh still remains the cheapest city, where its price is Rs 82.45 per liter. Whereas in cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Jaipur and Patna, diesel is being sold above Rs 90.
Interestingly, there has been no major change in the prices of petrol and diesel since the tax cut in May 2022. In the international market, the prices of crude oil sometimes go up and sometimes down, but the fuel rates in the country have been stable for a long time. Common people have directly benefited from this because making monthly budget has become easier.
