today’s gold and silver price Indian markets again emerged with ups and downs. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), by the market close on Friday, 24 carat gold softened to Rs 1,23,146 per 10 grams. The price of silver also declined to Rs 1,51,129 per kg. In the morning, afternoon and evening rates released by IBJA, there was clear movement in almost all categories of gold.
In the morning, 24 carat gold was Rs 1,22,561 per 10 grams, which came down to Rs 1,22,149 in the afternoon. By evening it improved and stood at Rs 1,23,146 per 10 grams. 23 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,22,653 per 10 grams, 22 carat at Rs 1,12,802 per 10 grams, 18 carat at Rs 92,360 and 14 carat at Rs 72,040 per 10 grams. The price of silver 999 also changed throughout the day and closed at Rs 1,51,129 per kg in the evening.
Last day, in Delhi’s bullion market, gold had fallen by Rs 600 to Rs 1,26,700 per 10 grams. Whereas gold of 99.5% purity was priced at Rs 1,26,100 per 10 grams. Silver also fell by Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,58,000 per kg.
Weakness was seen in gold and silver in the international market also. Spot gold fell 0.40% to $4,061.53 an ounce and silver traded at $50.73 an ounce.
Experts believe that the strength of the dollar, America’s new strategy regarding the Ukraine war and the market’s eye on American economic data have increased the pressure on prices. Uncertainty regarding the Federal Reserve’s policies is also limiting gold’s gains.
